About Yorkshire Handmade Kitchens
We offer a truly hand-made kitchen, using traditional craftsmanship. Our cabinet-makers are high calibre craftsmen experienced in traditional woodworking methods.
From your first contact your project will be handled by David Parry, the proprietor of David N Parry, the owner of Yorkshire Handmade Kitchens, who started cabinet-making in 1980. David will be happy to visit you to discuss your individual requirements.
Our design service is free of charge and David will design not only a practical and workable kitchen, but also the kitchen of your dreams. David’s designs are drawn by hand, rather than by restrictive computer programmes. This unique service enables you to create a design to suit your day to day living requirements and ensures your kitchen is completely individual.
Your kitchen will be fitted by our expert fitting team, but overseen from start to finish by David himself. We have no costly commission based sales staff or show room overheads making our prices very competitive.
We offer an extensive choice of timbers and styles, the most popular currently being pippy oak or walnut which can be stained to a colour of your choice then lacquered by hand or we can also offer hand-painted finishes to suit your taste.
The current vogue is to mix traditional qualities with modern design and hand-painted finishes. Our gallery shows that this is something we are experienced at providing, including the services of a specialist painter who can offer a variety of specialist finishes.
Our units are traditionally hand-made in our own workshop, with framed doors having mortise and tenon joints and hand-carved dovetailed drawers, from quality materials.
To compliment your kitchen, we can supply a comprehensive range of appliances; worktops including laminates, solid wood, granite, corian, silestone and caesarstone; sinks; taps and flooring and David offers a full project management service to include plumbing, electrical work and tiling.
